New Rochelle, NY
I have been an educator since 1964. I began my career as a Special Education Teacher at Mount Loretto on Staten Island which was the foundation site of the Hastings Franciscan Sisters. In the fall of 1979, I moved to Westchester County to teach in the local Catholic elementary schools. At the present time, I am teaching first grade at Holy Name of Jesus School in New Rochelle, NY. I have been in this school for the past 22 years. Until the fall of this year, I taught in several religious education programs and enjoyed the last 5 years teaching 8th graders in a Confirmation Class at St. Joseph's Parish in New Rochelle.
I joined the Sisters of St. Francis in 1960 and presently live at Immaculate Conception Convent in Tuckahoe, NY. I was fortunate to be a member of the Task Group that helped form the Union of the three communities of Hastings, Syracuse and Williamsville.
