Sister Vergilia Jim is an educator who co-developed (with Claire Lanzie) the Holistic Orientation for Peace Education Program (H.O.P.E.), which offers peace classes for children and training workshops for teachers.  She is also the Co-Directress of the Oneness in Peace Spiritual Center with Claire Lanzie.  It is a sacred holistic oasis of quiet and caring conducive to inner healing, peace and personal growth.  It overlooks the Hudson River in Germantown, New York.

Sister Vergilia has a B.S. in elementary education, a B.F.A in painting and an M.A. in Art Education.  She is an artist, a health and nutrition guide and a holistic peace educator.  Sister is dedicated to playing her part in bringing peace on earth through the expression of love, forgiveness and compassion in her art, peace education, retreat guidance and spiritual counseling work.
