MOUNT ALVERNIA DAY CARE AND LEARNING CENTER
A warm, caring and secure environment is provided to children ranging in age from six weeks to 12 years old at the Mt. Alvernia Day Care and Learning Center. The center is located in St. Clare Hall on the Mt. Alvernia campus.
Since 1987, hundreds of children have received expert, attentive care from certified teachers and caregivers. The center meets and exceeds the state certification of compliance requirements for child care.
Children are grouped according to age for their day's activities. Activities and learning experiences are offered to meet and enhance the progress and growth of children at each stage of their development. Our sisters and partners in ministry staff the center. From this team of 40, a good ratio of adults to children is maintained.
Snacks, naps and outdoor activities help create a "home-like" atmosphere for the children. The 18-acre campus, with its safe playground area, provides ample space for walks and a variety of outdoor activities during all seasons.
A strong concern for safety and security allows you to enjoy peace-of-mind when you enroll your children in our day care. Among other things, children arrive and depart in an area away from busy city traffic.
