Sr. Beatrice Leising, OSF from Williamsville, NY, received the Peacemaker Award from the Annual Franciscan Federation Conference in Minneapolis, MN on July 11, 2007.

Sr. Bea has been a steady and constant voice for justice.  She has been engaged in untiring efforts to foster education and understanding of justice concepts among our sisters by raising our awareness of issues and concerns, prompting us to action.  As liaison to our health center she works to ensure quality of care for our retired and frail sisters.
