Leader: HOW CAN WE PRAISE YOU? HOW EXTOL YOU?
All: By you hell was ravaged / its doors closed to those who are ransomed / By you the world is made new / and adorned with the light of truth / the reign of justice.

Leader: GLORIOUS CROSS, YOU ALONE ARE OUR BOAST!
All: By you, the Holy City is rebuilt / by you the Son learned obedience for our sake / by you was he lifted up to such a height / and given a name above every other name.
