The Psalms

A sacred hymn of praise, usually sung or chanted and taken in whole or in part from the Book of Psalms in the Old Testament.

The Psalms of the Old Testament are a wonderful way of prayer – they are actually the same prayers that Jesus prayed while he was on earth. They are very old but have universal themes and express every emotion we can experience! There are GLAD, MAD and SAD Psalms! You will find the Psalms located almost in the center of your Bible. They are the only book of the Bible which speak TO rather than OF God. Look through the 150 Psalms and find which express your experience. Pray with that Psalm and let it speak to you.
