"CREATION WAITS
Creation waits...creation waits... (Romans 8) It is in the plan of God that the whole of the created universe be transformed for the Spirit lives in all of creation. Paul tells us that until we come into a full consciousness of our identity as God's people, and are so transformed by grace that the life of God is clearly revealed in us, the created universe cannot fulfill its destine. Our spiritual journey is ultimately connected to earth's story and to the story of the whole universe. We do not have an identity separate from the earth – all will be transformed through the love of Christ. Paul encourages us to move forward in hope and joy in the sure knowledge that in Christ God's purpose is being fulfilled. " —Briege O'Hare |
